It was on April 10, 1912; the Titanic was sailing for New York from Southampton. At that time she was the largest ship in the world built in a very special way. So she was regarded as unsinkable. At that moment the Titanic was sailing across the icy waters of the North Atlantic. She was carrying 1316 passengers and a crew of 891. Four days after setting out, a great disaster happened. At one moment a huge iceberg was spotted very close to the ship. The great ship turned sharply to avoid a collision. Suddenly there was a slight trembling sound from below. The alarm had been given. The captain went down to see what had happened. Five of the ships sixteen watertight compartments were totally damaged by the collision. So the captain realized to his horror that the Titanic was sinking rapidly.

Titanic was the biggest ship of its time and housed cutting edge, state of the art technology. This luxury British steamship that sank in the early hours of April 15, 1912, after collision an iceberg, foremost to the deaths of further than 1,500 passengers and crew. The unsinkable ship went down after hitting an iceberg. The tragic event cost 1500 people their lives and only 705 people survived. It was sunk off the coast of Newfoundland in the North Atlantic after sideswiping an iceberg throughout its maiden journey.

This 52, 310 ton, and 269 meter long ship held a whopping 2228 people. The rich people all went to their first-class accommodation; they paid up to $4350 for their ticket. The first class had everything a rich person would require. The Titanic was far more luxuries than other ship of this time. Second class and third class were not more luxurious however the second class was enhanced than third class. The Titanic sailed like the airstream the first days of its voyage. Life on board was good and the passengers enjoyed the glorious vessel. Rising 32 meters above the ocean and up to 28 meters wide, this steamboat was enormous but it had main flaws that ruined up costing many lives that simply could have been saved.

It is moderately understandable that, through more communication, increased security procedures, and enhanced structure, the horrifying tragedy of the Titanic could have been condensed or even prevented from incident altogether. Titanic has enthused countless books, articles, and films, and her story has entered public awareness as a warning story about the perils of human hubris.
