Job satisfaction

According to J. W. New Strom & Keith Davis, “Job satisfaction is a set of favorable or unfavorable feelings with which employees view their work.”

According to Herzberg, “Job satisfaction is the outcome of some external factors. Such as pay, company policy, working environment, supervision and so on.” According to V. H. Vroom, “Job satisfaction is generally considered to be an individual’s perceptual/emotional reaction to important facets of the worker.”

So, job satisfaction is favorable and unfavorable positive and negative psychological, conceptual and mental reaction of employees about their jobs.
