Types of Cooperative Society in Organizational Stages
Organizational Stages: Cooperative society was originated from the word of co-operating which indicates assistance. Society means association or collection of a group of people. So, it means assistance of the society where a few people create a democratic institution voluntarily. The organization stages are discussed below:
(a) Primary Cooperative Society: This type of cooperative society is established with the primary members of the organization at the primary stage with the purpose of production, distribution, and service providing etc.
(b) Central Cooperative Society: This is the cooperative society of the second stage where is the combination of the several primary cooperative societies.
(c) National Cooperative Society: National cooperative societies are the ultimate leveled organizations which are formed with several central cooperative societies. For example, National Fishery Society.
(d) Mixed Cooperative Society: The mixed cooperative society is formed with the combination of the individual members and the primary cooperatives societies.
