Explain Antheridium or Male Reproductive Organ of Moss

Antheridium or Male Reproductive Organ of Moss:

(i) Antheridia remaining at the tip of the Moss plants are surrounded by perigonial leaves.

(ii) Each antheridium is oval shaped and multicellular. It can be divided by body and stalk

(iii) Outer membrane is composed of single layered sterile cells. There are sperm mother cells, within the antheridium

(iv) Sperm mother cells give use to a plenty of sperms (n) when they attain maturity

(v) Sperms eventually came out splittins off the tip of antheridium.
