i) Plant body is thalloid and is not differentiated into root stem and leaf.
ii) They are saprophytes or parasites
iii) Their cells are eukaryotic.
iv) Chloroplasts lack in their cells
v) Cell wall is composed of chitin
vi) Reproductive organ is unicellular, lacking vascular tissue and doesn’t turn into a multiceIlular embryo.
vii) Meiosis occurs in zygote (2n).
viii) Food taking system is absorption
ix) Reserve food is glycogen.
