The 15.6-inch VivoBook Go 15 OLED (E1504F) and the 14-inch VivoBook Go 14 were released by ASUS (E1404F). Both of the new gadgets are described by the maker as inexpensive options for amusement and productive work. They are prepared to give the most recent AMD Ryzen 7000 processors as a starting point, despite using the outdated Zen 2 architecture.

Both laptop models are capable of running the Athlon Gold 7220U processor, which has one core pair, four threads, and speeds up to 3.7 GHz; the quad-core, eight-thread Ryzen 3 7320U processor, which can reach 4.1 GHz; or the quad-core Ryzen 5 7520U processor, which can reach 4.3 GHz. Two Radeon 610M graphics cores, clocked at 1.9 GHz, are present on every chip.

The 15.6-inch VivoBook Go 15 provides three different display options. In one instance, the display is an OLED panel with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a maximum brightness of 400 cd/m22, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. Additionally available with a 1920 x 1080 IPS display, 60 hertz refresh rate, 250 cd/m peak brightness2, and a 45 percent NTSC color space coverage. A TN matrix with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a maximum brightness of 250 cd/m22, and 45 percent NTSC color coverage serves as the third choice.

With a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a peak brightness of 250 cd/m22, and 45 percent coverage of the NTSC color gamut, the Vivobook Go 14 model provides two displays from which to pick.

Both laptops are equipped with PCIe 3.0 SSDs that have capacities of 128, 256, or 512 GB and 4 to 16 GB of LPDDR5-5500 RAM. Both laptop models have the same external ports, which include one USB 2.0 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, one HDMI 1.4, and one combination 3.5mm audio output. They also support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless protocols. A webcam with 720p resolution capability and a security shutter is also included in the equipment of new models. Windows Hello authorization is supported via an optional fingerprint scanner.

In comparison to the 14-inch Vivobook Go 14, which weighs 1.3 kg, the 15.6-inch Vivobook Go 15 OLED is 1.63 kg heavier. 42 Wh batteries are present in both laptops. A 50 Wh battery is included with the 15.6-inch model’s OLED variant. The casing colors for all new goods will be black, silver, and green.
