Development and Motivational activities of Human Resources

Human Resource Management is the set of activities reaching to procuring, developing, maintaining, and utilizing a group of people for the proper functioning of organization activities and achieving goals. It is the function within an organization that focuses on recruitment of management and providing direction for the people who work in the organization.

Development function included followings:

Training: Organized activities aimed at imparting information and/or instructions to improve the recipient’s performance or to help him or her attain a required level of knowledge and skill then the organized activities are known as training.

Development: Development means changing what employees know, how they work, their attitudes toward their work or their interaction with their co-workers or supervisors.

Motivational activities of Human Resources – Management provides motivation in following ways:

Job Designs: Job design is a technical procedure used to define the duties, responsibilities, and accountabilities of a job.

Remuneration: Workers come to work in the organization for getting remuneration. Without it, human resource cannot work. The human resources should be given reasonable remuneration to work properly.

Providing benefits and incentives: For getting co-operation from the human resources the human resource managers should provide those benefits packages and incentives.

Performance evaluation: Performance evaluation is the formal determination of an individual’s job-related actions and their outcomes within a particular position or setting. In financial trading, its objective is to assess the extent to which the individual added wealth to the firm and/or its clients, and whether his or her achievement was above or below the market or industry norms. Also called performance measurement.

Career planning and development: Career development looks at the long-term career effectiveness and success of organizational personnel.
