Explain Di-hybrid Cross

Di-hybrid cross: When a cross is performed on the basis of two or more pairs of contrasting characteristics it is called di-hybrid cross. It is a cross between two individuals that are both heterozygous for two dissimilar traits.

Explanations: The cross between a yellow round ( YYRR ) and a green wrinkled (yyrr) gene containing plants. Mendel’s second law been established on the basis of Di-hybrid cross.
