Flowers are a gift from almighty.  It fills our minds with joy and happiness. Bangladesh is a country flourished by the beauty of nature. Each season approaches with a variety of flowers. The aroma and charming looks of flowers always fill our hearts with pleasure and joy. Each kind of flower has a special charm, beauty, and fragrance. A flower is always a symbol of beauty. We love flowers for their beauty and sweet scent. We use them as a token of love and respect. That is why everybody loves flowers.

Our Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Sm) was also a lover of flowers. There is hardly any person who doesn’t love flowers. Flowers also increase the beauty of our nature. Our poor country is enriched by a variety of beautiful flowers. They have variety in color, shape, and size. In our country flowers grow abundantly in spring. Waterlily is the national flower of Bangladesh. Red, white, yellow, pink, blue, orange-colored flowers charm our eyes and soothe our hearts. Some are with fragrance and some are scentless. Some are seasonal and some remain for years. We use flowers in happy ceremonies and festivals. We get honey from flowers.

Bangladesh is a land of flowers and beauty. The Rose, the Marigold, China rose, the Champa, the jasmine, the Tagar, the Jui, the Bakul, the Beli, the chameli, the Kamini, the Shefali, the Lotus, etc. are remarkable in Bangladesh. Most of the flowers are colorful and have a sweet fragrance. Rose is the most popular flower in our country. Flowers have very little material value but its aesthetic value is unlimited. Some other beautiful flowers that usually bloom in summer are Kathgolap, Polash, Sonali, etc. Kadam is the most popular flower of the rainy season. Many poetry and songs are written upon this flower. Some other flowers that bloom in the rainy season are Waterlily, Jasmine, Sandha Malati, etc. Sheuli flower blooms in early autumn. During autumn, Sheuli flowers and it’s fragrance fills the evening sky. Most of the flowers in the country bloom in a day but there are also some night flowers. Rajanigandha is known as the queen of the night. Some other flowers that bloom in the night are Hasnahena, Night queen, Bakul, etc. Among all the flowers, the rose is called the queen of flowers. It is of various colors such as rosy, red, white, yellow, black, green, etc.

Flowers are used from time immemorial as a taken of love, respect, and gratitude. Flowers also serve us for many purposes. We use flowers on different occasions. As flowers make our country beautiful, we should take care of them. So many people cultivate flowers for economic purposes. The government should take a hand to encourage more people to take flower cultivation and selling flower as a profession. As a result, many unemployed person have changed their luck by cultivating flowers.
