Knowland Appoints Jeff Bzdawka as New CEO

Noland has hired a heightened executive to return to the role of CEO after an unexpected pass from Robert Post in late 2020. Jeff Bzdawka is an experienced hotel and technology executive, most recently serving as senior vice president of global hotel technology at the hotel chain. After passing the post last year, Noland founder Michael McCain returned as interim CEO.

Noland is best known for its market intelligence platform for the hotel and meeting sector. Bajdauka has been with Hyatt since 2012, having a number of technology roles, including vice president, in the global property management and field services. Prior to joining Hyatt, he worked at TravelClick (2005 to 2012) and Pegasus (1999 to 2004).

He says: “There will be no complete recovery of the industry unless hotels understand the impact of profitability from withdrawing meetings and events at an adequate level.

“Noland is in a position to enable that recovery and I look forward to taking the company into a new era.” Lance Fenton, a partner at Serent Capital, said: “Jeff is an exceptional technology leader, and we’re thrilled to bring his knowledge and leadership to Noland, a track record of customer-focused solutions, scaling team building and driving growth.” The number of meetings is increasing and hotels, conference centers and other event venues have been encouraged by the epidemic. Noland will criticize the industry for rapidly rebuilding the group business and helping it make a profit, and will lead the company to the next stage in developing the Bzdawka’s hotel outlook.

Employee Growth and Development Empowerment – His proven leadership background and business philosophy will guide you to establish strong relationships between customer and peer care as well as provide acceleration against a strong product roadmap. Bzdawka Noland is committed to working with the resilience and enthusiasm of the team as they work together to take the company to the next stage of significant growth and technological advancement.

Experience in global hotel technology – BuzzDauca brings a lifetime of hospitality experience to the Noland team. His career at Hyatt has spanned more than 20 years in technology and operations roles. Most recently, he served as SVP of Global Hotel Technology where he was responsible for establishing and executing the portfolio roadmap of technology deployed at Hyatt hotels. Prior to his last Hyatt role, he was chief operating officer at TravelClick, leading a cross-functional team that served 30,000 customers across 140 countries. He has executive roles including managing various organizations including Pegasus Solutions, Financial Services and Global Services Delivery.

Leadership progress in group business data – as the tide of personal meetings and events shifts, requires deeper insights to identify the right business for hotelware, their property, and more suitable for smaller groups. Coming from a global hotel brand, Bajdouka understands very well the resource constraints at the property level and the demands that Noland’s equipment can address to improve productivity and performance.
