The director of Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp Says he’d Want to Work on Kuru Kuru Kururin or Chibi-Robo

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp by WayForward was eventually published a few weeks ago. The opportunity to restore a popular Nintendo-owned franchise was obviously valuable to the development team, but what else could they want to work on if given the chance?

Re-Boot Camp director James Montagna is asked which Nintendo franchise he’d most like to tackle after Advance Wars in a recent interview with MinnMax. Kuru Kuru Kururin, a Game Boy Advance puzzle game, turns out to be his top choice. See what he has to say about it below:

If you’re unfamiliar with Kuru Kuru Kururin, there’s good news: Nintendo has recently added this obscure title to the Nintendo Switch Online’s Game Boy Advance library. If you have an NSO Expansion Pass membership, you may go play it right now if you want to prepare for a possible remake.

Montagna mentions Rhythm Heaven, Wario Ware, and Chibi-Robo as probable rivals in addition to Kuru Kuru Kururin. Which property would you want to see WayForward handle, and do you believe Nintendo will entrust WayForward with another title in the near future? Leave your ideas in the comments section.
