Tree Plantation

Tree Plantation

Tree plantation means planting trees more and more. It also means planting trees in a well-planned way. Trees are part and parcel of our environment. The environment is being polluted every: moment and the planet ‘earth’ is already under the threat of the ‘Greenhouse Effect’.

Trees are useful to us in many ways. They play an important role in maintaining ecological balance. They give us food, fruits, medicines, woods, flowers, shades, etc. They also give us oxygen and take in carbon dioxide. They produce oxygen; regulate rainfall and the ratio of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the air. They keep the balance of the environment. Trees supply raw materials for both small and big industries. They help us in many ways providing many privileges.

They protect our soil from being decayed. They protect us from various kinds of natural calamities like floods, droughts, storms, cyclones, etc. Most of the trees give flowers for beautifying our environment and fruits as delicious seasonal food and as business material. But people cut down trees and endanger our own lives. When trees are cut off, the most fertile topsoil layer gets washed away easily in rains or floods. Cutting down trees causes serious damage to the soil. They are the green cover of the planet. It also causes global warming which may bring about a serious cause of sufferings to human beings in the near future.

Trees are our best friends. They help us in various ways and so; we must devote ourselves to tree plantation. So, we should not cut and use trees at random. We should plant trees to revive our wonderful source of important needs which furnish our life and exaggerate it entirely to decorate the nature and its beauty. Rather we should plant more trees for a healthier, happier and better life. Tree plantation activities must be encouraged to make our planet cleaner and greener.
