Unfairmeans in the Examination
Copying in the examination is called adopting unfair means in the examination. Copying in the examination is a great problem in our country. It is one of the major problems in our education system. It is a national problem. None can support it because real education is not possible through adopting unfair means in the examination. It is an evil practice and it degrades the moral values of students. The students who pass any examination by adopting unfair means in the examination do not get any good job and cannot serve the nation.
There are many reasons for the problem. Some of these are defective examination systems, student politics, unsuitable syllabus, lack of qualified teachers, dishonesty of teachers, lack of teaching atmosphere, lack of public awareness, etc. Firstly, dirty student politics is responsible for it. Due to the decline of the moral values of our society sometimes guardians, outsiders, and even invigilators help the examinee in copying. Secondly, a faulty syllabus is responsible for copying. Passing or making good results by adopting unfair means will not bring success in the long run. The students are also not attentive to their studies. They only want to cross the stairs of examinations. Thirdly, some dishonest teachers help in copying. Many educational institutions do not have sufficient trained teachers. Many teachers do not take classes properly and they are more concerned with private teaching.
We have to stop this at any cost. Some measures should be taken immediately to stop copying in the examinations. At first, our education system should be modified. Students are the future of the country. If they do not have real knowledge, the future is grim. There will be no one to lead the nation. Moreover, some students do not prepare their lessons. They waste their valuable time in gossiping, roaming, playing, traveling. As a result, they are compelled to adopt unfair means in the examination. They should come out of this practice. They have to change their mentality. The education system should be changed. The lessons should be interesting. The invigilators should be more honest. The guilty must receive exemplary punishment. All should come forward to stop copying.
Public awareness must be raised against copying in the examination. It is a matter of hope that the government has taken the necessary steps to stop copying. Exemplary punishment should be given to those who are involved in copying. The countrymen have thanked the government. The government has already taken some measures such as the interchange of examination centers, forming vigilance teams, checking body, etc. The problem cannot be solved only by enforcing laws. We should identify the factors responsible for this problem. The result is that unfair means in the examinations have already been reduced much. The teachers, the students, and the guardians all others of the society should come forward to stop unfair means in the examination.
