Behave with Parents

Parents are next to God in this world. They are the most respectable persons. We cannot imagine our life without them. They gave us birth and we are able to see the beautiful world. That is why they need our understanding and respect. Sometimes, we think our parents cannot understand us and they get in the way of our happiness. This is why many of us have experienced rebelling against our parents at some point, especially when we were still teenagers.

They reared us when we were completely helpless. So, you must learn how to behave with them. Listen to your parents. When your parents ask you to do something, do it. Clean your room and make sure you don’t leave your mess for them to have to clean up. Don’t argue with your siblings. Arguing stresses your parents more than you think.

First of all, respect and abide by them. However, we should not forget that our parents love us, and all they want is the best for us. Don’t do anything which may hurt them. If it is something you don’t want to do, just simply tell your parents it is not something you feel like doing. Help them in their works. Nurse them when they are sick. Feed them when they get old. Don’t be rude, cruel, or harsh with them. At times when they seem to be very strict, they just want to protect us from possible harm. Talk to them politely. Don’t irritate them. If they still insist you to handle it, don’t yell, just go do it. If you think something is unfair, go on with life and possibly come back at a later time. Even if you don’t want to, you have to respect your parents.

Be friendly and frank with them. Try and think of something you want while trying to behave to convince your parents to get it. Don’t lie with them. If you’re working on getting something, don’t do anything that might make them not want to give it to you. Try helping them out around the house by giving them a helping hand. You don’t want to ruin everything you worked so hard for. Don’t raise your voice while talking to them. If they need help doing dishes or doing laundry, give them a helping hand. They will always try to give back in return. Use the advice they give you, so they know that you were listening to them when they gave the advice to you.
