Organizational Behavior (OB) is the study of human behaviour in organizational settings, the interface between human behaviour and the organization, and the organization itself. It is an interdisciplinary field that includes sociology, psychology, communication, and management.
According to Keith Davis “Organization is the study and application of knowledge about human behaviour in the organization as it relates to other system elements such as structure, technology, and the external social system.”
Fred Luthans said, “Organizational Behavior is directly concerned with the understanding, prediction, and control of human behaviour in organizations.” Organizational Behavior (OB) is the study of the way people interact with groups. Normally this study is applied in an attempt to create more efficient business organization.
