Climate campaigner Greta Thunberg is not planning to attend the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland next November, BBC News reported. The COP 26, 2018, organized by the UK government, will be the first major climate conference that Thunberg has not attended since its first climate protest outside the Swedish parliament.
The Swedish activist took to twitter further explain his position on the matter. He noted how risky groups and frontline workers around the world have not yet embraced the job, and how some countries are now vaccinating healthy young people. Thunberg stressed that vaccine nationalism would not solve the epidemic and that “global problems need a global solution”.
