Every Friday, FocusWare separates and debates the trends or new developments in that industry by FocusWire that week. Anyone in the sector is working somewhat efficiently in the field of autonomous vehicles and asks their relationship with the travel sector and you will get a similar perspective. The chances are huge but the problems at this neonatal stage are equally big.
The technology is there (though not quite cheap), there are fan advocates (just ask people like Alex Benbridge) and down to the electrical nature of the vehicle, many boxes are embedded in the sustainable agenda. Weimo’s recent capital gains seem to be making money. However, however, there is always a “but” with many new technologies and ideas
There is a problem of confidence with the public, many are still not sure about the concept of the device (a mostly secure one, most) all work and rely on the system to keep them safe. It will get over – in the end. But others also struggle to use it – because some transports lend themselves to the introduction of autonomous driving units (for example freight), while others are less defined.
And, finally, autonomous driving still appears to be a future phenomenon – something to anticipate a jolt down the road and something more to seize. This is especially true for a sector that is trying to do everything it can to recover from the Kovid-1p epidemic without even considering introducing a technology that is still in its infancy. It may be that, in 2022 and 2023 alone, autonomous driving became a serious agenda item on the research and development list of many brands. But it is logically a good thing, with technology providers and the champions of the concept having the opportunity to continue an education that is necessary to convey to a fixed-skeptical traveling public.
