Internal trade: Buying and selling of goods and services within the boundaries of a nation are referred to as the internal trade. No customs duties or import duties are levied on such trade as goods are part of a domestic production and are meant for domestic consumption.
Internal trade can be categorized into two broad categories (i) wholesale trade; and (ii) retailing trade.
Examples of Internal trade:
Wholesale trade– A buying house or company buying from manufacturers etc.
Retail trade– Departmental store, Petty shops etc.
