Describe on Greenhouse Effect

Greenhouse effect is the gradual warming of the air around the earth as a result of heat being trapped. Carbon-dioxide gas, methane, chlorofluorocarbons, etc are the main culprits for this global warming. Deforestation is one of the causes of the increase of carbon-dioxide gas in the air. Global warming could reduce mankind’s ability to grow food, destroy or severely damage wildlife and wilderness, raise sea levels and thereby flood coastal areas and farmland which is a threat to the lower southern part of the world.

The heat is trapped in the air because of environmental pollution. Global warming will affect wildlife and wilderness by raising temperatures as much as 4°c midway through the next century. Bangladesh is under a great threat because global warming may cause the lower southern part of the country may go under water. The main cause of global warming is the increase of carbon dioxide gas, methane and CFCs in the air. The oceans are being polluted by human waste, industrial waste products, oil seeping from damaged supertankers and from other maritime disasters. Because of deforestation carbon-dioxide increases in the atmosphere. That results in an increase of global temperature. The belief of the most climatologists is that the greenhouse effect is the most likely cause of the global warming. The alarming news about Bangladesh is that the lower southern pan of the country may go under water one day due to the rise of the sea-level.
