A Picnic
The picnic is a source of pleasure and enjoyment. It was winter vacation. Our school/college was closed after our examination was over. So I made an offer to my friends to go on a picnic. I wish some of my friends arranged for a picnic. The hours spent on a picnic are always exciting and thrilling. We selected Sonargaon for the picnic spot.
On the fixed day, we hired a minibus to go to the picnic spot. On the selected day I got up early in the morning, took my bath and breakfast and started to join the picnic with a camera and a small bag on my shoulder. We got into the bus at about 9 am with all the necessary materials. We took all the necessary foodstuffs and utensils with us. On the way, we enjoyed very much. Some of us were singing and some of us were clapping. Our artists amused us with their music. After reaching Sonargaon, we finished our breakfast. We reached Sonargaon at 10.30 a.m. after visiting the nearby area, we sat down to give our food. We did not take any cook with us. We all together were cooking. At about 2 pm the lunch was ready. We ate to our heart’s content. By this time we all became hungry. All of us took our lunch. After lunch, we went out for sightseeing. Then we played some games. We arranged a shoot cultural function. Then we went toy cist the folk art museum of Sonargaon. Thing tickets, we entered the main area. We visited all the historical relics and saw famous things. We took photographs of different sights. One of our friends took several snaps of the important sights. We returned home just after the evening prayer. It was really an enjoyable picnic. Sonargaon is a place of historical interest. It was once the capital of Bangladesh. The museum of Sonargaon charmed us most.
We started for home at 5 pm. This picnic removed the monotony of our life. Really, it was an enjoyable and memorable day in my life. It refreshed our minds. It was a very pleasant day. We enjoyed the picnic most. We returned home at 7 pm with a happy heart.
