Road Accident
At present road accidents are regular happenings all over the world. When a vehicle collides with another on the road is called a road accident. It is a disagreeable and unexpected occurrence. Thousands of people die every year due to a street accident. It is caused by vehicles while moving on the road irresponsibly. The causes of street accidents are careless driving, brake failures of vehicles, over-taking of one vehicle by another, driving by inexpert drivers. It is the most dreadful of the daily occurrences.
There are many causes of road accidents in our country. The roads and streets of our country are narrow. They are not straight. The uncontrolled driving of drivers is the main cause of the accident. They often go roughly mad to overtake without caring for traffic rules and systems. Overloading of vehicles is another cause for accidents. The unconsciousness of the people is also liable for the rising street accidents. An overtaking leaning of the drivers is also accountable for a road accident. Another reason is the breach of traffic rules. Most of the drivers are not eager to obey traffic rules. Even the police cannot manage the traffic rule breakers. On the other hand, passers-by are also over busy. They do not regularly use over a bridge and subversive path. Sometimes the speedy vehicles fall into the roadside channel or into the river and thus kill the passengers on the spot. Besides defective and old vehicles increase road accidents. As a result, a street accident is caused every day.
The effect of road accidents is of great extent in our lives and assets. Many lives are nipped in the bud. Everyday many people become victims of a road accident. It can cause severe loss and injure anyone roughly. Many a family loses the only earning member. The effect of a road accident is pathetic. Somebody loses his/her dear and near ones forever. Many people become crippled. Street accidents make many children orphans. They have to meet an early death. Some of them are acutely injured. Pedestrians are the most awful sufferers. Sometimes our valuable things are lost or damaged. So a street accident is like a curse in our life.
This problem can be solved by all-out efforts from both the authority and the general mass. Some measures can be taken to control road accidents. An exemplary penalty should be meted out to those who are held answerable for road accidents. Roads and streets need to be constructed on an appropriate plan. To do so, first, our general people have to be made conscious. The modern system of traffic control should be introduced. The old vehicles should not be permissible to play on the road. Defective vehicles should be detached. The people from all walks of life should come forward to tackle the problem together. A driving license should be issued honestly and appropriately. Last of all the government should launch a program to undertake it and implement law and order harshly to restrain road accidents. And thus, we can hope for a better future.
